Date Night!

I took myself out on a date tonight. Todd had to work and I felt like I needed to get out and do something, so I found a babysitter and took myself to the movies. Have any of you ever gone to the movies by yourself?

I went and saw Mall Cop. It was hilarious. I had a lot of fun. I just might ask myself out again.

An Eternal Family

On January 27th, Todd and I went and had Spencer sealed to us in the Redlands temple. It was a beautiful day. When we arrived, my sister Julie was already there and had an adoraple white romper all picked out for him. We left Spencer with my sister and a temple worker and went and got ready for the sealing. When the temple worker brought Spencer into the sealing room and he saw us, he got a big smile on his face and looked like he was trying to get out of her lap and crawl over to us. He looked so handsome all dressed in white. He was very good. Before Spencer came into the room the Sealer told us that he saw Spencer and that he was all calm and collected. I thought it was cute because you don't think of that term being used for a ten month old.

After the sealing we took pictures and went to the Soup Plantation for lunch.

Spencer's blessing

Well, it's been a few weeks since we posted so I decided it was time to update. December is a special month with Christmas but it was extra special for our family this year. On December 21st, Todd blessed Spencer at church. It was nice to have friends and family with us on this special day. I was quite suprised at how well Spencer did during the blessing. He didn't make a peep. I did hear however, from people who participated in the blessing that he did try to sit up.

After church we went back to our house and had lunch.
