Memory

I copied this from my cousin's blog and it was fun to take a trip down memory lane.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Since Todd and I share this blog you can write a memory about either one of us or both.

Remember, only leave comments that make me look good. Just kidding.=)

Wow, their are so so many memories with you. In high school, I remember going to league for my first time in track for discus. I was so excited, but the very best part of the day was watching you run the mile. I think you ran your best time ever. I think just over 5 minutes. I can remember standing with your Dad cheering you on. Of coarse you won league. I was proud of you. I was so proud to be related to. I loved being in track with you.

Okay one more. This one isn't such a good one, but it happen so long ago it is kind of funny. Sorry I have to share it. I am not sure you will even remember. About 4th grade, you and Marc were buds and I was the youngest making me the third wheel. Anyways I think our house was being added on to and I saw you and Marc trying to sneak in our house. I asked what you were doing and you guys ran. I later found out you were trying to sneak into my bedroom. You going to take my underwear and hang it on the flag pole at school. It was kind of tramatic to me (that it almost happened)at the time and something I will never forget. I can't stop chuckling about it now. Kids!

I love being your friend and cousin. We have so many fun memories together. It was so good talking to you today. Hopefully I will see you soon.

Now all these funny memories are coming to me. Remember how we used to wash our hands by turning on the water with our feet? (Of coarse so we didn't have to touch the dirty faucet.) Yay I am still a germ freak, especially now that Luke is here. I better stop. I could go on and on.

That was sweet about the track memory and very unselfish of you for that to be the best part of your day watching me run.

I remember the underwear one. Just for the record, it was Marc's idea. I was just helping him.

That is so funny you mentioned turning on the faucets with our feet. I was just telling Lynnie that story this weekend. There are sooo many fun memories- Raging Waters (by the way Julie has a pass this year), etc.

Elizabeth. Thanks for commenting. It's good to hear from you. I remember when we were at the Temple after Sean and Jenn's wedding waiting for them to come out. You had, I think it was a dolphin snow globe, and you wanted Todd to give you an animal name like everyone else in the family. He gave you the name dolphin. Do you still like dolphins? One of these days you'll have come down with Sean and Jenn.
Well, talk to ya later,

I remember when the guys shared an apartment at Mudd and Grant's snake got out and got lost. If I remember correctly, it was lost for a very long time, weeks I think, and we pretty much gave up on finding it. Until one day when Todd went to put on his jacket and found the snake hiding in the sleeve! Then there was the iguana that used to like to climb up onto Todd's bed and snuggle up to him while he slept. Of course, Todd, being the chill guy that he is, was completely unfazed by either of these two things.

Melissa, thanks for sharing your memory. I have to say I wasn't completely unfazed by finding Grant's snake in my jacket. You don't expect to put your arm into your sleeve and encounter something moving inside! It did startle me quite a bit. As for Juana the iguana, she was pretty cool.
