My Little Water Baby=)

Spencer absolutely LOVES water. I'm not sure which he loves more, dirt or water. I thouroughly enjoy watching him enjoy the water.

So cute! I haven't been able to take Luke anywhere with water yet. Maybe after Claire gets here. I want to know, does Spencer get into everything, especially things he shouldn't be in? Luke is getting into EVERYTHING. It really scares me. He loves to get into my silverware drawer and he pulls the knives out. I told Ian that when my Mom is here he will have to put locks on that drawer.

So far he's stayed out of the knife drawer. We do have a lock on it though. When he's in my room he does tend to get into the cat food and throw it into the cat water. He does get into things in Todd's office. I pretty much let him have free range in the tupaware and pots and pan cupboard. There is the trash cupboard and one other low cupboard I don't want him in. While he is pretty good at staying out of them, he sometimes gets into them but I tell him not to get into them and redirect him to one of the other cupboards. But other than that, we don't really have a lot for him to get into downstairs where he spends most of his time. Before I had kids, I thought that I wouldn't have to move breakables because kids need to learn how to live in a house and respect things and not break them. Well, that didn't last very long. I decided to remove anything I cared about or that might hurt him, which wasn't much, and I just opened pretty much the whole downstairs besides the office and bathroom to him. As I think about this more, when I visit my mom and grandma, he does end up touching stuff he shouldn't. Because we're liscensed foster parents we have to keep chemicals locked in the garage and medicines locked in a tool box, so I don't really have that to worry about. What does Luke get into? Does he get into the Dog food?

Yes on the dog food! Uggh! If I have left the pantry door open where the big bag is, he thinks that is his treat. I try and feed him something yummy and nope he would rather get into the dog food. He feeds the dogs his food and wants theres. What? I think he thinks he is a dog. If he drops his bink on the floor he doesn't pick it up with his hands but his mouth. He gets into every cupboard and drawer and if I leave anything to close to the edge of the counter he will get that too. Ian is putting locks on everything this weekend. I don't even like him to get to the pots and pans or tupperware because it means more dishes for me. If I tell him no he thinks it is hillarious to keep doing it or do it more. He is such a teaser. I think he gets that from my Dad. Or maybe it is just a boy thing. Poor Claire.

great pictures! It is a wading pool at Memorial Park in Claremont.
It was fun! I was thinking of telling Mandi about doing a playdate there.

I'm sure the photo or video was great, but it's MiA for me today! Don't you just love raising that cute child of yours? It's the best!
